If you've been following along on my social pages (@thercgeek), then you've been seeing the assembly of my 110" wingspan VQWarbirds B24 Liberator over the last couple months. The model is being featured in a Model Airplane News review article in the November issue, but I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak flight. This is such an amazing model that is built well and flies beautifully. It looks much like its full scale counterpart having great presence in the air. For paint scheme, I opted for "Scorpio" from the 834th Bombardment "Zodiacs" Squadron which I love on the airplane. I will be doing additional videos on the model once the review hits stands which includes a full assembly review, flight review as well as discussions on adding functional bomb bay doors and turrets. I'm thinking some weathering may be in order too! Here are some of the specs on the model:
