VR 3D sculpting / printing with Gravity Sketch

Teaching Tech

Inspired by Devin from Make Anything, I thought I would try my hand at sculpting in VR and then 3D printing the result. I used a HTC Vive with the wireless adaptor and the app Gravity Sketch to sculpt, before jumping into Meshmixer to make the models manifold. I printed my three objects on a Prusa i3 MK3, Tevo Tornado with 0.8mm nozzle, and JG Aurora A5S.

If you get the chance to try VR, take it. Every single person who has ever had a go has been left with an enormous grin on their face.

I will hone my skills and make a follow up video at some stage on something interesting.
