In today’s tutorial, I am going to be showing you how to use VSDC 6.8, the newest version of VSDC’s video editor. There’s been a lot of additions to both the free and pro versions of VSDC 6.8 that we will be covering, including the addition of motion tracking, bezier curves, interface updates, new transitions, and more!

In my opinion, VSDC is the best free video editing software available because it is a fully functional video editor that you can use and with no watermarks. VSDC is also a very lightweight video editor and has advanced features which I will be going over in this VSDC tutorial. You can always use the free version of VSDC video editor since it is free and featurerich, and even if you want all the features, the pro version of VSDC is only $19.99!

I will be teaching you how to use the VSDC video editor by making a commercial from start to finish. In this VSDC tutorial, we will be covering how to navigate the editor, as well as add videos, images, text, and audio. We’ll also be going over new features of VSDC 6.7 Free and Pro such as motion tracking, masking, and updated animations. Finally, I will also be going over how to split clips and add visual effects, transitions, and other modifications to your content so that it is ready to export as a YouTube video.

I decided to cover both free and pro features in this video since the upgrade is so cheap and most features are accessible in the free version, so there is no need to make two different videos. If you’re looking for one editor to stick to, VSDC is a great option for editing if you want a free video editor and do not have the most powerful PC. For a free tool, VSDC boasts a lot of advanced features such as color correction toolset, transparency effects, blending, Chroma Key, glitch, lens flare, and much more. Additionally, the pro version of VSDC is $20/year, so it is the cheapest editor if you also plan to upgrade in the future.

This VSDC video editor tutorial will be going over all the basics so that you can start making your own videos. I would highly recommend giving it a watch if you want a new free video editor for making videos as I think VSDC is the best free video editing software available for Windows.

Let me know in the comments if you want to see more specific or indepth VSDC tutorial videos for beginners as I really enjoy covering this video editor! Thanks for watching :)
