On its first mainline excursion since overhaul, Ww 644 made a trip from Glenbrook to Hamilton and return as the Waikato Steam Wanderer. In the consist was water tank wagon UC 686, itself also freshly overhauled, and DBR 1254 as a backup. We took a ride on the train from Glenbrook, and spotted a few other trains through the station before returning to Glenbrook.
