This video illustrates the best method for shifting gears easily with a Grillo walkbehind tractor (or most BCS models, for that matter)...by "feathering" the clutch while keeping a little light pressure on the desired gearlever in the direction you want it to move.

**NOTE: This method does NOT work well with the BCS "PowerSafe" models, because "feathering" the clutch is not possible with those.**
