I've been using petrobond and then my "refreshed" version of it (simply adding nondetergent motor oil to it) since I started casting two years ago. I've never liked the cost of petrobond or the smoke and smell that comes along with it. I've decided to make my own green sand. I talk about the sand and do my first casting with it.
