Well farm family...it happened. Hurricane Milton hit Florida & it hit hard. One of the many things you will deal with after any natural disaster is insurance companies. Whether it is flood insurance, wind insurance, or your basic homeowners insurance you will have a lot of hurdles to jump over just to secure the money you need & have paid into the system to one day utilize if needed. Is insurance a scam? In my opinion yes, but to each their own ‍♂

I would much rather save my own money by creating a sinking fund & have the OPTION to secure additional insurance such as liability if needed...not be forced by law to participate in a system that has proven to be for profit & not there for its consumers in true times of need.

Please continue to pray for those impacted by both Hurricanes, the road to recovery (if ever) for so many will be a long one
