ᗢ Year One in the Wastelands: Cats of WasteClan ᗢ

After a famine wipes out the rest of her clan, Downystripe travels out to establish a new clan on her own. What troubles will she face in the lonely wastelands…?

This video marks the start of my newest clangen series, following the cats of WasteClan. Many of those who follow my community page or my tiktok know that I’ve started to grow tired of Silver Fern Clan. The clan grew considerably, with one year offering a couple hours worth of content. The script I was preparing was getting too long, and there were more cats than I felt comfortable trying to draw. It gave me awful burnout.

I’ve decided to put that series on pause and move onto a new series, starting with a loner challenge. I’ve messed around with the code a bit and experimented with some settings and guidelines that will, hopefully, keep the clan from becoming overwhelming. Some additional things in this series are that I will be interpreting and rewriting events to make a cohesive story with what happens each moon. I will also be using a prophecy generator for any particularly important dreams. I hope that these make the series just a bit more interesting.
