Former US President Donald Trump was shot during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. The bullet pierced his right ear. Trump had just started his speech when he was shot. The FBI has called this an assassination attempt. The suspect, identified as 20yearold Thomas Matthew Crooks, and One rally attendee was killed and two other spectators have sustained injuries. According to the Secret Service, the gunman had fired from an elevated position. The FBI has confirmed that they did not know there was a person on the roof of the building until the shots were fired on Trump. US President Joe Biden has condemned the attack.
