House Speaker Mike Johnson (RLa.) is delivering an address on foreign policy Monday at Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank, in advance of NATO summit about to begin in Washington.

Hudson takes a stance favoring more active engagement on the world stage than that of former President Trump, a NATO skeptic. Johnson backed this year’s support to Ukraine, with an implicit commitment to NATO members, despite pressure to back down from some other Republican members.

Johnson is scheduled to speak at 2:15 p.m. EDT.
