Yes, the jeep Cherokee is mostly bullet proof related to its well engineered 4L I6 engine. The Jeep Cherokee XJ is really known to last over 400k miles if its taken care of properly, however, although it can last 1/2 a million miles, it does have issues. These issues may or may not be deal breakers on your purchase and if you already own one, this video may help you resolve some problems you have been having.
