Platelet Rich Plasma (known as PRP) is a revolutionary treatment used to treat many conditions ranging from osteoarthritis to rotator cuff tears and much more.

PRP is made from spinning your blood and extracting the platelet rich plasma and injecting this into the site of concern.

So you've decided to get a PRP injection. There are a few very important things you need to be aware of prior to the procedure. I break down my preprocedure instructions in this video.

Conditions treated by PRP:
Osteoarthritis of all joints in the body (commonly performed on hip, knee, ankle, shoulder, wrist, thumb)
Tendinosis or chronic tendinopathy
Rotator cuff tear in the shoulder
Meniscus tears in knees
Labral tears in hips and shoulder
Tennis Elbow, Golfers Elbow
Patellar tendinopathy/jumpers knee
Achilles tendinopathy, partial Achilles tendon tear
Plantar fasciitis, plantar fascia tear
TFCC or scapholunate tears of the wrist
Any much more
