Today, the last Delta Air Lines MD88 visited Columbus. The aircraft, N978DL, rolled off the assembly line in Long Beach nearly 30 years ago! This was one of the coolest experiences I've had as an aviation enthusiast, and, if the Mad Dog is coming to your town for the last time tomorrow, I highly recommend going to bid this legendary aircraft farewell.
