"Use of Data Science Tools for Assessing Inland Water Surface and Quality Trough HighResolution Sentinel2 Remote Sensing Images"

The presentation shows the recent advances towards fully operational assessment for inland water surface and quality.
The waterdetect package (https://github.com/cordmaur/WaterDetect) is covered in the first 20min. Then, a case study assessing the brazilian's 2021 drought is presented. The study area has more than 320,000km2 (half of France) and it analyzes the impact of the surface water loss with increasing eutrophication in reservoirs.
