Materials used:
Paper:
Quarter sheet, 185 gsm Arches Cold Pressed watercolor paper
Watercolor paints, all are Winsor and Newton:
French Ultramarine
Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Turquoise
Raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna
Raw Umber
Aureolin or Winsor Lemon, or any cool yellow
Permanent Rose
Scarlet Lake
Brushes:
Size 8 & 12 round watercolor brushes
Mop brush or size 24 round watercolor brush for wetting the back of the paper
Rigger
Hog hair fan brush
Other material:
Waterproof backing board, I use 6mm thick matt black acrylic, held at about 20 degrees
