In this video, I share my expression of a few beautiful trees. Actually, there are a few outside my studio window. I am sharing three different approaches; I hope you enjoy them and find the one that is the most fun for you! I'm using a lot of wet on wet as usual and wet on dry. I recently ordered the Snap brushes, and they were fun. They are inexpensive brush that has a lot of snap indeed! They are at a reasonable price point as well.

Before painting each day, if time permits for you (I promise it's worth it ), take 15 minutes and do this warmup with me before sitting down to paint. you do this daily, and it will make a huge difference in your confidence and expression in your paintings.    • Beginners #2:  Daily quick warm ups ...

On PAPER, I’ve used Meeden and Artisto for many years, and you’ll see me use one or the other in most of my tutorials. My Meeden paper suggestion is 100% cotton, has a really great texture and is finer grade. My Artisto paper recommendation is student grade, handles lots of water, (still good for wet on wet) and is a bit less expensive.
