This video is random art inspiration and very much how I love to create. I show you how I start some of my "Art Poetry" style watercolour paintings. We use a coiled book of mixed media paper by Micheal's in house brand called Artist Loft. It's not the best surface for watercolour but I show you how I love to do colour cravinog exercises and ways I like to paint intuitively. I also show some unfinished works on paper that I paint over with acrylic paint and with the addition of collage paper. I talk about what inspires me in the moment and we wrap up the video with my process of covering up areas of the piece that I don't love , and find ways to explore what I do love in my work.
