One longestablished way of simplifying the process of painting in watercolour has been to limit the number of colours in your palette.

Professional artist Peter Woolley uses two blues (French Ultramarine and Prussian Blue) and two yellows (Cadmium Yellow and Lemon Yellow), and in this demonstration, He will be showing how those 4 colours can work together in perfect harmony, along with helping him to simplify the task of painting this relatively complex scene, featuring a mossy wall, misty fields and rich shadows.
