Waterfall to Audley - via Couranga track and Forest Path

Follow
Find My Australia

This is a 16km one way walk starting at Waterfall station that takes you through some beautiful Australian bushland.
Keep an eye out for some of the wildlife you may encounter on any of these walks in the Royal National Park.
This is the ideal walk for bird lovers, especially when you enter into the temperate rainforest.
I was once again extremely fortunate to witness Lyrebirds belting out an incredible repertoire of mimicking sounds, including that of a Black cockatoo, Whipbird, Currawong, Wattle bird, Kookaburra and Sulphurcrested cockatoo.
(keep an eye out for the video with the full repertoire)
I did plan to have a lift waiting for me at Audley to take me back to my car.
You can continue on from Audley for around 5km,via Honeymoon steps, getting you back to Sutherland Station.
IMPORTANT
As always do your research and know your limits.
Be prepared as it is easy to lose your way on any of these trails.
