The recently deceased jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter joins the NDR Bigband for a performance at JazzBaltica in Salzau. Pianist Danilo Pérez, bassist John Patitucci and drummer Brian Blade complete the Wayne Shorter Quartet. The program includes big band arrangements of Shorter’s compositions, who is directing the band himself.
