‘When Calls the Heart’ stars Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith are dishing on the longrunning series’ surprising season 8 finale. However, they explain why that storyline is still of massive priority, and how they hope Lee and Rosemary become parents in season 9, whether through pregnancy or adoption. The pair also reacts to Elizabeth Thornton choosing to pursue a romance with Lucas Bouchard after three seasons of being torn between the saloon owner and Mountie Nathan Grant. Hutton opens up about Rosemary’s career path after starting the Valley Voice newspaper, while Smith sheds light on Lee’s decision to run for Hope Valley mayor. Since the series has been officially renewed for season 9, the actors explain why they feel so grateful to continue telling heartfelt stories on the show.
