The one thing I always remembered from Cinderella when I was a kid was her giant pumpkin chariot. I always thought: imagine if this was real. Well recently I discovered that there are actually monster sized pumpkins in the world weighing up to 1100kg. That's crazy! Every year a boerengat in Belgium called Kasterlee has the tradition to hollow these giant pumpkins, use it as a canoe and then race against each other in a lake. It's called the Poempenregatta and it's absolutely weirdly amazing. Of course we had to go check it out and compete in this iconic race. Enjoy!
