Today I'm showing you a place so unusual that you can't even imagine it could exist.
This place is the result of an entire life, the one of Maurice Dufresne, who spent most of his life undertaking but above all picking up and collecting everything he found "interesting", like what are you going to tell me?
Nothing really, just tools, tractors, cars, tanks, boats, planes...
He even had to move his entire impressive collection into old mills in order to be able to restore everything and exhibit these rare pieces, even unique in the world. You can therefore come and admire these curiosities over 6 hectares in equally magnificent and timeless places.
This place is therefore the Cité RétroMécanique (formerly the Maurice Dufresne museum), in the cute little town of AzayleRideau.
I'm only showing you a few vehicles here, but believe me, this museum is well worth the long detour to get lost among these thousands of rarities.
