When we installed our wood burning stove with chimney pipe in 2021 it was in the middle of winter. Honestly not an ideal time to install a stove but given the rising costs of utilities we decided to take the plunge. Ideally we should have removed the shingles to install the chimney and after a small but persistent leak lesson learned.
