Eaton India's Ranjangaon plant makes transmissions for trucks by assembling more than 300 parts. The plant houses machining, heattreatment and assembly operations to make 6speed and 9speed transmissions for commercial vehicles makers in India and across the globe.
The India operations also support the global company’s business operations through its Centre of Excellence for Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Marketing, IT, and other functions.
Under the mobility ecosystem, the company supplies several automotive components, including engine air management systems, powertrain solutions, driveline controls for cars, medium and heavyduty trucks, agricultural tractors, and offhighway equipment.
The company's emobility portfolio includes Highvoltage inverters, DCDC converters, Breaktor, fuses, EV Transmission gearboxes, Power Distribution units, Battery Disconnect Units, Battery pressure vents, LV Vehicle controls products, EV charging infrastructure, and Commercial Vehicle Hybrid systems.

All plants of Eaton globally rated based on performance, and the highest rating is the ‘Model Plant.’ The Eaton Leadership Model has a guiding principle called ‘Enable Digital Mindset.’ The company has introduced several initiatives to support its quality enhancement initiatives. Industry 4.0 Assembly Management System at the plant involves connecting work cells to streamline the production processes. RealTime Production Performance Monitoring System checks realtime production data, including machine availability, machine performance, and product quality.
