The weather in Germany remains divided: while the east continues to experience high temperatures of up to 35 degrees, it is cooling down in the west and there are heavy showers and local storms. In Bavaria and Thuringia in particular it will remain pleasantly warm today before a significant change in the weather sets in on Wednesday.
