Model guidance is hinting at 24 inch rain totals primarily along and south of the I10 corridor, with 12 inches looking possible further north through the Lakes Area through early next week. Additional weather impact alerts are likely into early next week.
Above normal rainfall and below normal temperatures are forecast to continue through the Labor Day Weekend with lows in the 70s and highs in the middle to upper 80s.
In the tropics, there remains one area of concern in the Main Development Region. The NHC is giving this one a 20% chance of development through the next 7 days. There are no threats in the tropics locally through the next 7 days.
