In April 2021, ITV Wales weather forecaster Ruth Dodsworth's exhusband was sentenced to three years in prison for a campaign of abuse against her, including coercive behaviour and stalking. He was released after serving 18 months in prison. In April 2022, Ruth joined us to discuss her terrifying ordeal and how she felt about his impending release. Over a year later, Ruth and her daughter Grace join us to discuss the often unseen financial side of an abusive relationship, something 1 in 5 people will experience in their lifetime. And Grace will be telling us about the effect her father’s stalking and coercive behaviour had on the family.
