This is a video of an extrication of a driver following a driverside impact with a tree. The vehicle was a 2008 Lexus. The extrication took approximately 50 minutes, and this video captured 20 minutes of the operation. Emergency responders included the Beech Grove (TX) Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper County (TX) Sheriff's Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and a crew from Jasper Towing & Recovery assisted by pulling the car away from the tree. The driver, a 21yearold female, survived the crash, although she suffered catastrophic injuries.
