Zereshk Polo Morgh (Persian Barberry Rice with Chicken) is a popular Iranian dish usually served at wedding and ceremonies. The fried chicken marinated in a special sauce along with a combination of barberry, saffron, and rice, which are altogether called Nesar, gives an unforgettable taste and an attractive appearance to this dish.

Ingredients for 6 Servings of Persian Barberry Rice:
6 Cups Rice
2 Cups Barberry
8 Tablespoons Stewed Saffron
2 Tablespoons Sugar

Ingredients for 6 Servings of Chicken :
3 Small Chickens
8 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
10 Cloves of Garlic
8 Small Onions
8 Cups of Water
8 Tablespoons Lime Juice
Salt, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper Powder and Cinnamon Powder as Needed.
