Taken Wednesday November 9th 2022. Well my day started by changing about 8 feet of cycle sections and 5 or 6 guards I had tore up trying to cut the beans threw the ruts left by the spray guy in the field ! With that done it was on to cut beans and I really need to get these cut ASAP cause there calling for a lot of rain and cold temps starting Friday ! My cousin called and as he was done and a couple of miles away he came over to help me get these done before the weather turns wet, So a JD 4400 with13foot head and an JD 8820 and 25 foot head got after it and this is something you really never see working together in the field together. We finished up in the dark and boy cutting the back field was hard cause the air got still and the dust just hung in the air making it hard to see ! Tomorrow is going to be a really busy day cause there is a lot to do before it rains, Getting the ruts disked in get a log drug up out of the field load out the beans get the combine cleaned up and get everything put up for the year ! I wanted to plant some wheat but there was no wheat seed to be had for 100 miles so that idea went out the window real quick ! As it turned out the next day (Thursday) was the last good day cause Friday it started raining and it was wet and cool the rest of the year and this was about the last good day to cut beans . It was a long day for sure but after a couple of hours of working on the head it was smooth cutting the rest of the day ! I hope you enjoyed watching .
