Thanks for watching this quick week eight post laminectomy update video. The surgeon stated that I have no more restrictions and that I can go about my normally daily routines, which means more physical activity primarily bike riding.
Since the last video update, I am feeling really good. Lower back pain and stiffness is still there but not a hinderance like it had been. My flexibility in my lower back and hips has greatly improved.
I got the okay to start riding outside, and I had participated in the Tour De Cure on May 5, 2024. I have been able to ride 45 days a week in preparation of some upcoming events this summer such as Unbound Gravel, Seattle to Portland (STP) and Ride from Seattle to Vancouver, BC and Party (RSVP).
Additionally, I was told I can go back to Jiu Jitsu which I am looking forward to
