Editing a week's worth of content into 25 minutes was wayyyyyyyy more time consuming and difficult than I thought it would be (literally just watching 4 hours worth of useless montage). I think it's taught me to stay away from weeklong videos, or reprioritize how I do film them.

But what surprised me the most was just how DEPRESSING my freshman year life was all I did was study, get sick, eat, sleep, and repeat (no joke). I knew I wasn't doing so well at the time, but rewatching this now makes me realize I wasn't kidding when I said I was mentally, physically, and academically struggling. It makes me grateful that I'm no longer in that position, and proud of how far I've come since then.

After all, this is a raw, accurate depiction of what my transition as a 16 year old Berkeley student, far away from her family and in new territory, was like. It's very different from the usual college transition, which is oftentimes more exciting, revolutionary, and way more prepared (to say the least, I was not ready for that jump).

I hope the content is still very entertaining! I get less awkward throughout the video the more I get used to talking to a camera, and I'm sure that's something that'll improve time and time again. And I look like a mess literally the entireeeeee time (but I swear I can look pretty, only when I choose to be haha).

This also means that you're getting more accurate snapshots of what I'm like personality wise, and I love talking, so hopefully you love seeing me talk. ;)

Only a few more videos to purge from last year and then I can finally get to recent content, which I cannot wait to show (I am 100000000x more aesthetic and productive within just 1 month of sophomore year).
