just wrote this song. it's not really about anything just a fun exercise in songwriting
lyrics:
They're Belligerent with arrogance,
Screaming with confidence
That danger is part of our nature; how else will you learn from it?
To seize the opportunity as soon as the day shows it face,
To run laps around the opposition with ample forms of grace
If you only adhere to a set of simple rules,
Like follow the path you carve, and be careful with the friends you choose,
that only failed men starve when they grieve for fools, to keep your aim steady to sharpen your tools,
Then they batten down their hatches,
to keep these fading shadows away,
it's like a play with no leading actors,
the lights are down and the script is on flames
So we try to make sense of this all,
with little restraint,
These predicated forms of anger,
turning the cogs within our brains,
Its as if a switch was flipped, in the dark,
And we've truly found our place
No longer stumbling hands along the walls,
we can finally keep our pace
But these temporal murals leave awash look in your unknowingly stoned face,
Frozen in strobing depictions when you cry
longing of better days,
