In this video we cover the northern end of Section 15 of the New England Tail in Massachusetts (AKA The Metacomet and Monadnock Trail). I took a late start to let the rain pass and hiked south from Mormon Hollow Road to the shelter in Wendell State Forest. My arrival was after dark and the ground was soaked from all the rain, so I decided to stay in the shelter. With the cold front coming and lots of wind, this was a good call. On day two, I hiked out via Jerusalem Hill. This extra mile plus was well worth it. Once back on the NET we were treated to some excellent views of the hills to the west via two short spur trails. Once back to the car, I continued north on the twomile road walk to the beginning of section 16.
