This event is part of a series of Model Yacht Racing events for DF65 & DF95 classes held once a month at various locations across the UK during 2023.

This is the first TT event of 2023 and is sailed on the Marine Lake at Southport.

The DF65s (DragonForce) raced on Saturday and DF95s (DragonFlite) on the Sunday. There was a large entry of 49 DF65s and 54 DF95s on Sunday. The 2023 DF65 TT events will count towards qualification for the Global Event to be held in Sweden in 2024.

Radio Sailing (Model yacht racing) is a competitive form of yacht racing run along similar lines to dinghy racing and keelboat racing.
