It has it's fair share of flaws (looking at you "a connection error has occurred" message) but Splatoon 3 has continued to keep Splatoon players around the world coming back for more. Despite issues with connections and matchmaking, Splatoon 3 has already sold over 10 million copies and is set to overtake both of its predecessors (including Splatoon 2, which is also on the Nintendo Switch) to become the most successful game in the series yet.
