Update: While not a perfect fix, my waterline tightened up considerably the next day. Sadly the wind calls got tougher so I still dropped points but very few were from vertical. The bottom line is don't feel defeated just because you have loaded ammo that isn't shooting well because there just may be a way to improve it. 

I'm not perfect and like many people do, I make mistakes. In this particular case I seated my bullets too short and I paid the price on the first day of a match with more than my fair share of flyers. So as soon as I came home I measured my lands and made adjustments to my rounds and here's how I did it.
