Six troubled human souls, including the timid newcomer and series protagonist Pomni; the troublemaking rascal Jax; the cheerful optimist Ragatha; the emotionally fragile Gangle; the moody perfectionist Zooble; and the paranoid veteran Kinger, find themselves trapped in the Amazing Digital Circus. This virtual reality game is run by a quirky but oblivious artificial intelligence named Caine and his enthusiastic assistant Bubble. Sent on relentless and sometimes traumatic adventures, Pomni and the others strive to maintain their sanity and uncover a path back to the real world.
