I learned that there are two approaches to learning piano, through traditional sheet music, or by learning via chords. I tried a Udemy course Pianoforall that I had seen advertisements over the yearsand I was pleasantly surprised how much progress you can make in a short period of time!

I think if I continue to practice piano, even though it's not the traditional method that I'll be able to play songs faster which I think will give me a bit more bang for the buck as a hobbyist.
