On August 15th, 2023, police responded to a motor vehicle theft. The caller reported that a woman had taken his rented car without his knowledge and was not returning it. Shortly after, the woman in question brought the car back and parked it behind the hotel. The other woman's information wasn't adding up, which made the officer even more suspicious. They continued to reiterate that the car wasn’t stolen. Soon, the officers were advised by dispatch that both women had warrants. Both women were taken to jail for their outstanding warrants, and a warrant for Kelsey was issued for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and obstructing justice.
