Homemade Spam:
Ingredients
500G ground pork
5G salt or for saltier one up to 7g
7g Sugar/allulose
15g corn starch/potato starch
1TSP Minced Garlic (or whatever spices you want. We like to keep it plain since tha babies prefer plain spam)
1tsp Black Pepper (or more based on how you like it)
50G water

Directions:
1) take 500g ground pork and 50g of water and put in a bowl mix it up well and make sure to smash the pork very well to get it smooth or you can use a hand blender to blend it up really well to get a smoother spam closer to store bought
2) add the rest of the ingredients and mix a little bit. If you over mix it the corn starch will harden and make the spam less smooth, so just mix until fully incorporated.
3) Get whatever glass containers you want to fix the shape into totalling 600ml.I use 4 small 150ml glass square containers. Push the pork into it very well to make sure there are no air bubbles. It hslpe to get a spoon and smash it down into every corner of the containers.
4) grab a steamer or like i did with a pot and a small cooling rack inside and steam for 40 minutes.
5)Cool and then take out and prepare however you like! I prefer pan searing it~~ So good!
