Hi friends! Today I'm looking back on my oneyear commitment to make my own clothes and reflecting on everything I learned.

In this video, I talk about everything I learned after making my own clothes for one year. I am an amateur sewist who began her sewing journey in January 2020, but it wasn't until December 2020 that I decided to start taking my making journey more seriously. I began by watching YouTube videos and tutorials and then started with following indie patterns and experimenting with fabric, styles, colours, and more. A year later, I'm so pleased that sewing has helped me find my style, with a colour palette and range that I love. It feels so nice to make clothing that I love and build a wardrobe that I'm proud of. Make sure you watch the video to see the top 5 lessons I learned after sewing my own clothes in 2021.
