The Caspian Sea is one of the largest in the world, and is surrounded by multiple central Asian countries like Russia, Kazakhstan, Iran, and more. But what if this sea were to become a country? First of all, all of the water would have to be drained from it. Even then, the elevation of this country would be far below sea level, so we would have to use some more unrealism to make it above.
