What if your landlord gives you 30 days notice to vacate?

There are a lot of renters and tenants who are receiving notice from their landlords to vacate the property they are renting and move out in 30 days. This has happened to several of my clients recently. You may be wondering why this is happening and the answer is simple...home values have increased and landlords recognize the current opportunity in the housing market and they want to sell their rental homes while the home prices are up. Most of the people we have heard of that have been getting kicked out of their rentals were longer term tenants who were not required to sign new leases when their original leases expired.

If you are renting a home or apartment and if your lease has expired, you may not be safe if you are thinking you want to continue renting the home or apartment you are living in because your landlord may decide to sell the property you are renting. This means there is a chance you may have to move with very short notice. The reasons why this is such a big deal is because there is an extreme shortage of available homes and apartments to rent. Meaning, if your landlord gives you a 30 day notice to vacate, you may have a very difficult time finding another place to rent and finding that out can create a lot of stress and worry.

If you are concerned that your landlord may be selling the property where you are and you think it could happen this year, give us a call right away at 7403977800 so that you can find out what options you have when it comes to moving and even possibly purchasing a home of your home instead of renting.
