What is a Day Out of Days Report? Someone asks you for a Dood and suddenly you panic!

This report is essential for a film production, and you need this to know which actors are working when, and for how long. This is all like putting a massive puzzle together in regards to scheduling, locations, and closing deals for name talent.

A Day out of Days Report is a report that either the Line Producer or the Assistant Director puts together for the film. It shows each character, in order of the size of their role. Then there's a layout of the days of the week the film is being shot.

You'll see different codes on the report. S means starting work. W means working. F means finishing work. H means hold.

For a day player, you'll see SWF on their day they work, meaning they started work that day and finished the same day.

For a lead role, you'll see SW on the first day they work, then W's in all the columns of the days they're working, and then WF when it's their last day.
