So, this WLtoys XK A280 is an RTF RC plane modelled after the P51C Mustang “Red Tail”.

The P51C Mustang fighter aircraft was flown by the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of AfricanAmerican pilots who fought in WW2.

The distinctive markings on the tails of their P51 thus gave the organisation its popular name.

The Tuskegee Airmen were the first unit of AfricanAmerican military aviators in the United States armed forces.
