The Central Ohio housing market continues to experience more buyer demand than there are available homes, It is still a seller's market and it doesn't look like we will be experiencing a balance housing market or a buyer's market anytime soon. There are more buyers looking to buy a home than there are available homes to purchase. This is why we say it is a seller's market.

Over the last 10 years the builders across the country did not come close to building enough new homes to cover the buyer demand. This is one of the contributing factors to why housing prices are higher today than they were 3 to 5 years ago. The good news is that most of the home builders in Central Ohio haven't overbuilt new homes and the demand for their products remains strong. The reality is that many of the builders in the midwest haven't come close to fulfilling the buyer demand for their new homes.
