After the video with the presentation of the networking course we are going to see the first class with the first topic: what is the IP and what is it used for. Today we are going to focus on the public IP and in the next video we will see the private IP. We have to differentiate between public IP and private IP because they are not the same.
In this video we are going to see what the TCP/IP protocol consists of, why it is necessary that our Internet provider gives us a public IP, what it is used for and what format it has.
To establish a connection with a website or an Internet service we need to know its public IP because it is a unique address that identifies it on the network.
As if all this were not enough we must also distinguish between IPv4 and IPv6 because although they have the same function they are not the same.
