About This Video:

In this video, I have covered the basics of topology and I have given illustrations, and examples and made a stepbystep approach: how from Euclidean geometry we proceeded and made topology which is an extension of Euclidean geometry. I have used the concept of congruency and have shown how congruency has been replaced by 'topological invariance' and how the polygonal shapes are being replaced by any shapes.
The concept of homeomorphism has been covered but not much in detail, which is the topic of my next video.
Topology is an important subject in the study of shapes and sizes. Broadly speaking, topology deals with shapes and how they are connected to each other.
